Q:  How much does it cost?  

A:  There is no charge to list your products on HattieRex.com.  When an item sells, 65% of the retail price will be added to your payout account.  Shipping is paid by Hattie Rex out of the remaining 35% commission.

 

Q:  Why should I sell on HattieRex.com instead of on my own website or Etsy? 

A:  We encourage our artists to sell on their own platform as well as ours.  We would be honored to be one of your multiple sales channels.

A group of artists can attract a larger crowd than one solo artist.  Think of a farmers market or art fair.  These events draw more people than one individual artist setting up a booth alone.  

Think of HattieRex.com like a virtual art market.  Only you don’t have to haul your products to a parking lot, set up your EZ-Up tent, and hope the customers show up.  All you have to do is connect your site to ours, and we do the rest.

 

Q:  Why is your commission 65/36?

A:  We know that 35% is a sizeable commission.  We also know that it takes a lot of time and money to build a website, build and pay for ads to drive traffic to it, retarget the traffic, field customer inquiries, post on social media and send out marketing emails to retain customers...all the “other stuff” that keeps your sales funnel full.  

We believe that a group of artists is greater than the sum of its parts.  Therefore, we’ve decided to pool our resources from the commission to pay for advertising, marketing, shipping, customer service, and all of the other parts of that funnel, so you can focus on doing what you do best.

 

Q:  How and when do I get paid?

A: We use TransferWise to pay our vendors daily via direct deposit.  

Payouts are scheduled after the return period, which is 14 days.  

Sorry, we are not able to mail checks to our vendors.



Q

I have an Etsy shop.  How does my shop integrate with HattieRex.com?

A

If you have an Etsy site, all we need is your shop name, your email address, and your return mailing address.  Our system can pull your products directly from your site and list them on HattieRex.com.

 

When you have an order to fill, you’ll receive an email.  When you click the link within the email, you’ll be directed to our vendor portal where you’ll see the order.  From there, download and print your shipping label (remember, we pay for shipping) and mail the order directly to the customer.

 

The system will update with tracking information and notification emails will be sent automatically.

 

After the return window (14 days), 65% of the retail price will be directly deposited into your bank account.

 

Q

I have a Shopify site.  How does my shop integrate with HattieRex.com?

A

If you have a Shopify site, we’ll send you a video to generate an API password to allow us to integrate our Shopify site with yours.  

 

This process takes less than 10 minutes of your time.

 

Once we are integrated, our system can pull your products directly from your site and list them on HattieRex.com.

 

When you make a sale on HattieRex.com, it will be populated within your Shopify Orders page, just like an order on your own website.  From there, you can download and print your shipping label (remember, we pay for shipping) and mail the order directly to the customer.

 

Our system will update with tracking information and notification emails will be sent automatically.

 

After the return window (14 days), 65% of the retail price will be directly deposited into your bank account.
