      About Men's Society:

      It was 2008. I was living in London doing a very sensible corporate job. When Bella walked into the office and changed the game forever. A girl can do that to a guy. Like most relationships in their early stages there was a fair bit of showing off, trying to outdo each other with little gifts. Only Bella was annoyingly good at it. These gifts ranged from persuading the pizza guy to write 'get well soon Hottie' onto the box when I was too ill to leave my flat, a custom made bright yellow umbrella - to stand out against a sea of black ones - to the perfect little grooming kit to accompany a surprise weekend away to Berlin; Bella always nailed it. Which got us thinking... and in 2012 Men's Society was born and we put Bella’s gifting skills into action full time. Like a lot of businesses, ours was founded and created at the kitchen table. Ambitions were dreamt around it, ideas sketched on it and product made at it. The business has grown (along with our family) and we now work with some of the top retailers in the world but we still make everything by hand, in Britain and we're super proud of that. Although we may have out grown our original table, we still hold the same dreams, drive and attention to detail that we had at that kitchen table all those years ago. Hugo & Bella x

      Our turnaround time for custom-made items is 1-5 business days from receipt of order.

      Ready-to-ship items will ship the next business day.

      We ship via USPS First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation which normally takes 2-5 days in transit. Priority and Express Mail options are also available at checkout.

      Orders are processed in the order they were received. If you need a faster turnaround, you can rush your order for $10.Rushing moves your order to the top of the queue and gets your order in the mail the next business day. Rush your order here.  

      Returns Policy

      We gladly accept returns on non-personalized items within 14 days of delivery.  Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.

      We do not accept returns or exchanges on personalized or custom items.

      If we make a mistake on your order, we will gladly replace it.  However, if the mistake is not ours, the item is yours to keep. Please check spelling and phone numbers carefully.

      What are your products made of?

      We use aluminum, brass, copper, and sterling silver for our jewelry. Our chains are sterling silver. Yellow and rose gold jewelry chains are sterling silver electroplated with rose or yellow gold. Our chains are made in Italy and electroplated in California. We use aluminum, brass, copper, sterling silver, and nickel silver for our pet ID tags. Our split rings are zinc-plated steel and are made in Wisconsin. Individual products’ materials are listed in each description.

      Is personalization extra?

      All of our products are priced to include personalization. If you need extra text applied (to the back, for example), an extra charge will be required for the extra work involved. In general, an extra line of text consists of up to 12 characters including spaces and costs $4. Please email us at info@hattierex.com to create a custom order.

      Will the letters be perfectly straight?

      We use a method called hand-stamping to personalize each piece. Every letter and number are struck individually using an antique hammer. This method creates unique and varying alignments which add to the character and handmade nature of the piece, so every product will be slightly different.

      Do you ship internationally?

      Yes. We ship internationally via USPS First Class Mail International. This method can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks in transit. Customs and fees are the buyer’s responsibility and we will not knowingly falsify any customs documents.

      Will you gift wrap my order / include a note?

      Your personalized jewelry will arrive neatly packaged in a small box. If you are ordering multiple pieces, please specify at checkout that you would like separate boxes. Otherwise, we combine multiple products into one box. Packing slips and receipts are not included. If you are ordering a gift and would like a note included, please specify during checkout what you would like the note to say.

      Are these tags just for dogs?

      No. We’ve created pet id tags and charms for cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, ferrets, plus children and adult humans. Many designs require no modification; just be sure to order an appropriate size for the animal (or human) you are tagging.

      Will the metal tarnish?

      All of our products begin with an untreated sheet of metal. No waxes, sprays, or finishes are applied to the products, which means they will develop a patina over time. Humidity will accelerate the patina’s development. Jewelry polish pads are available for $0.50 each. We recommend storing your jewelry in an airtight plastic bag (one is included in your order) and removing your jewelry to bathe, swim, sleep, or exercise.

      Can I order online and pick it up in the store?

      Yes.  Please select “in-store pickup” under the shipping methods and select your preferred pickup date.

      Can I buy just the pendant?

      Yes. On many products, you’ll find a drop-down menu for our “Necklace” or “Pendant” options. Necklaces include a chain as described in the product description. Pendants do not include a chain.
